Learn how to connect Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, vectorize PDFs, and activate your WordPress license key.
WhatsApp Business Cloud API Connection
- Log into Meta for Developers and create a Business App.
- Add the WhatsApp product to your app and locate your
Phone Number IDandTemporary Access Token. - Open your LiteChatbot SaaS Dashboard → Nav: WhatsApp Settings.
- Paste your
Phone Number IDand click Generate Webhook URL. - Copy the generated Webhook URL back into Meta’s WhatsApp Webhook settings page and hit Save.

Setting Up BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)
To bypass credit consumption, navigate to Settings → API Configuration in your LiteChatbot Dashboard and select "Use My Own Provider API Key".
Supported provider formats: sk-proj-xxxx (OpenAI) or sk-xxxx (DeepSeek API).
Formatting docs for best retrieval
- One topic per section with a clear heading.
- Keep FAQ answers under 150 words, plain text, end with contact info.
- Avoid scanned-image PDFs — text PDFs chunk far better.
Troubleshooting API keys
- 401 / invalid key: regenerate the key at your provider, no extra spaces when pasting.
- 429 rate limit: lower the per-IP hourly cap impact by raising your provider tier, or switch models.
- Timeouts: the plugin waits 5s; large prompts fail closed to FAQ answers — shorten context.
